Office Memorandum: Call for Entries to the 2017 Regional Invention Contest and Exhibits

All faculty members and students of Bulacan State University are encouraged to take the opportunity to showcase their inventions in the Regional Invention Contest and Exhibits (RICE). The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) - Region III will be holding RICE on July 25 - 27, 2017 at the Multipurpose Gymnasium of Central Luzon State University, Science City of Munoz, Nueva Ecija. The event serves as a qualifying round for the National Invention Contest and Exhibits that will be hosted by the Technology Application and Promotion Institute of the DOST. The event has six categories:
- Invention Category (Tuklas Award)
- Utility Model Category
- Industrial Design Category
- Creative Research Category (Likha Award)
- Student Creative Research Category (Sibol Award for College)
- Student Creative Research Category (Sibol Award for High School)
The deadline for the submission of duly notarized entries and complete requirements is on July 4, 2017 (Tuesday, 5:00 p.m.) at the DOST Regional Office No. III, Government Center, Maimpis, City of San Fernando, Pampanga. Qualified entries will be notified by DOST-III as soon as the preliminary screening and checking of documentary requirements is completed. To qualify for financial support and technical assistance, please submit your research to the University Research Office a week before you submit your entry to RICE.
