Welcome to BulSU E-Learning Laboratory

The BulSU, LEYBOLD DIDACTIC GmbH. of Germany and Gaylan Technologies, thru a tripartite technical and financial agreement, established the BulSU E-Learning Laboratory to provide mainstream multimedia environment in industrial disciplines and technologies. It is also dedicated to the learning excellence of future engineers and technicians who make up the backbone of the Philippine industry. The BulSU E-Learning Laboratory was inaugurated and blessed on December 8, 2005.

Interactive Multimedia Laboratory

The BulSU E-Learning Laboratory is the interactive multimedia desktop laboratory. It is used in the areas of electrical and electronics technology and engineering. Using this laboratory, the theory and practical applications of electrical and electronics technology/engineering can be taught and learned. It also acts as the interface between theory and practice. It have a capability to permits theory to be put into practice, records real measurement values, communicates with the software via the serial port, easy to use, fast set-up, compact, and portable.

The BulSU E-Learning Laboratory can be done in seeing, hearing, doing, and comprehending the laboratory activities. The learning environment can use to:

• graphically conveyed theoretical and practical principles
• motivate students
• compensate for uneven training levels and learning speeds
• carry out experiments quickly and easily
• allow students to do their own experimenting
• promote more effective learning in less time
• enable students to work in a network
• allow the instructor to monitor the students’ progress at any time

The BulSU E-Learning Laboratory makes learning and teaching fun because of the following:

• promote faster comprehension of theoretical
• principles with the aid of animations and experiments
• make individual and group instruction possible
• allow instructors to devote more time to individual students
• permit students to work independently on their own projects
• student’s learning progress and level
• students can make up for deficits on their own by performing hands-on, practice-related experiments
• allow for greater transparency between theory and practice
• animations and experiments support the quick understanding of complex theoretical principles
• fast and rapid assembly and disassembly of the laboratory equipment
• easy to change experiment boards
• giving you the opportunity to pick up some knowledge in between times

The BulSU E-Learning Laboratory is composing of fifteen (15) components and these are as follows:

• Direct Current Technology
• Alternating Current Technology
• Electronic Components Technology
• Operational Amplifiers Technology
• Digital Technology
• Microcomputer Technology
• Control Technology
