Research Agenda
The Research Center of the University envisions to develop a strong research oriented faculty in order to plan and implement research activities geared in developing human resources in the different discipline with the needed expertise and leadership in support to regional and national agenda , strengths desirable values in the professional as a dynamic agent for sustainable development, provide quality research and develop highly qualified and innovative entrepreneurs who contribute to the socio-economic growth of the country and the region.
To pursue relevant and timely research studies, the Research Center will spearhead the development of research goals and objectives, identify thrusts and priorities and establish quality assurance of research undertakings.
The research priorities for this school year focus on the three major concern of the university such as Technology, Environment and Sustainable Development and Education.

Research Thrusts and Directions
- Strengthen and work for full operations of the research unit
- Pursue linkages, consortia and other forms of networking with research agencies, organizations or bodies both local and overseas.
- Improve quality of research and research output at least to the level of national significance
- Pursue vigorously a continuing program on research – manpower capability program
- Sustain research projects in engineering and science at the same time encourage researcher in education, home economics, technology, information technology and architecture.
- Conduct annual in-house review and assessment
- Publish a research journal for wide dissemination of research output
