Position : Weather Observer II
Campus : Main Campus
College / Office : Development and Innovation Office - Cybernetics Regional Development Centers - Resiliency and Continuity Center (Automated Local Weather Assessment System)

Employment Type : Project Based
Duties :
  • Analyzing and recording data from weather stations, satellites, and radars.
  • Providing weather reports.
  • Applying mathematical and physical formulae and using computer modeling applications to make weather predictions.
  • Researching and predicting climate changes.
  • Improving weather prediction models.
  • Keeping up to date with technological developments.
  • Generates necessary technical reports.
  • Perform tasks as per instructed by the Center Head and Directors.
Qualifications
Education : Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Meteorology
Experience : With at least 1 year experience
Training : Meteorological Technicians Training Course
Eligibility : None required
Other Qualifications : Technical and Implementation Skills. Communication Skills/People Skills
