Aklatang Mariano Ponce

The Aklatang Mariano Ponce is a large directorate, the role of which is to underpin the academic objectives of the institution through support for learning, teaching, scholarship, and research achieved through the delivery of effective, efficient, and customer-oriented services. Our primary concern is to provide a high quality learning experience for the diverse range of students at the university. The Aklatang Mariano Ponce measures 83 sq.m. It consists of Circulation, Reading Area, Filipiniana, Periodical corner, Computer Area, Librarian and Technical Services. The Library reading area can accommodates 60 persons. The library is well lighted and conducive to learning. It is arranged and planned for the convenience of the library users. The library holds a collection of books on Social Sciences, Accountancy, Criminology, Business Administration, Legal Management, Public Administration, Management Economics and Psychology. The Aklatang Mariano Ponce still serving its users and provides clients needed information. As of now, the total number of library collection is 2,686 volumes and 2,338 titles of books which came from purchased and donations.


Bustos Campus

Situated at the 3rd floor of Pancho Building. The Library has a total area of 144sq meters. It can accommodate 120 students at a time. The library operates under the supervision of Mr. Eduardo Mangalile, Head Librarian of Bustos Library and Mr. Romnick Polintan, Assistant Librarian. The Library is open Monday to Friday at 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM and 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM during Saturdays. Bustos library holds a total collection of 3,500 volumes of 1,800 titles of printed materials.


College of Architecture and Fine Arts

CAFA library is located at the third floor of Federizo Hall Building. It has a total area of 0.40 sq.m. The library can accommodate at least 62 patrons. As of now, the total library collection is 1452 volumes of 1182 titles and it also include non-print materials. Students, as well as faculty members, find the CAFA library a very good to study. It is arranged and planned in accordance to the needs on how it will give proper and easy services.


College of Arts and Letters

The College of Arts and Letters still serves its users and provides clients needed information with eligible librarian and qualitative resources. As of writing, the total number of library collection is 933 volumes and 712 titles of books which came from purchases and donations.

The College of Arts and Letters Library is located at the second floor of Federizo Hall. It has an area of 81 square meters which can accommodate 55 library users. It is open Monday to Saturday from 7:00 AM till 6:00 PM. It also holds a collection of books on mass media, creative writing/malikhaing pagsulat, theater arts, journalism, language, and literature as well as other related programs.


College of Home Economics

The library houses the collection of around 1182 volumes and 820 titles of books on different subject covering the academic courses offered in BulSU College of Home Economics and general reading materials which came from purchased and donations. The library has also in- house research works at around 274 titles written by the college students every academic year. It has also a provision of computer units for internet used. Commencing SY 2014-2015, Ms. Cristine Abigail P. Ayran was hired to take place of the former librarian, Mrs. Lalic. The library is now undergoing transformation from manually operated library to fully automated one.


College of Information and Communications Technology

The CICT library measures 101.8sq.m. It consists of Circulation, Reading, Filipiniana, Audio-Visual, Theses/Research, Periodical Section, Computer Area, and Librarian and Staff Work area. The Library's reading area can accommodates 87 persons. The library is well lighted, well-ventilated and conducive to learning.

The CICT library still serving its users and provides clients needed information. As of now, the total number of library collection is 1,393 volumes and 854 titles of books which came from purchased and donations.


College of Industrial Technology

The CIT library is located at the 2nd floor of the Alvarado Hall Building, adjacent to the Dean's office. It has a total floor area of 76.16 square meters. The library can accommodate at least 55 persons. It is arranged and planned in accordance to the needs of library users on how it can give proper and easy services.

The CIT Library holds a collection of books on Automotive, Drafting, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical and Machine Shop, Refrigeration and Airconditioning, Food Technology, Mechatronics, and Industrial Automation.


College of Law

The College of Law Library is located at the ground floor of the College of Law building. It has an area of 108 sq.m., with 67 seating capacity. It has a total library collection of 2,054 volumes of 416 titles acquired through purchase and donation. The library offers WiFi connectivity, computers with Internet connection is also available to aide with the students' research and other information needs. The library operates Monday to Friday from 8:00 am until 8:00 pm and during Saturdays from 8:00 am until 5:00 in the afternoon.


College of Nursing

The CON library is situated at the 2nd floor of CON and CICT Building. It has a total floor area of 77.86 square meters. The library can accommodate at least 76 persons in one seating. It is arranged and planned for the convenience of the library users. The CON Library holds a collection of books about Medicine and other Sciences. It has a provision of five (5) computer units for internet searching. It uses Koha Integrated Library System for easy access of the collection.


College of Engineering

The College of Engineering Library is located at the 4th Floor of the Natividad Hall. It occupies a total of 221 square meter floor area which can accommodate about 150 students at a time. The Library primarily caters to the information needs of the College of Engineering Faculty and over 5,000 students from various Engineering disciplines: Civil, Computer, Electrical, Electronics and Communication, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, and Industrial. About 80 % of its 5,000 print and non- print titles is about Engineering, while the 20% is about general education subjects including the Filipiniana collection.


College of Education

The College of Education Library is located at the 3rd floor left wing of the Roxas Hall Building. It has an area of 224 square meters which accommodate 200 patrons at a time . The library has provision of the following areas: Baggage counter, theses, circulation, periodical, vertical file, internet and electronic resources. It uses the Library of Congress Classification and adopts an open-shelved system. It caters to the needs of the community especially in the area of education.


College of Science

The CS Library is located in the center of 2nd floor of Federizo Hall. It has an area of 108 square meters which can accommodate 80 library users at a time. It holds a collection of Science and Math and they are arranged using the Library of Congress Classification System. It caters to the needs of Bachelor of Science in Mathematics major in Computer Science, Business Application and Applied Statistics, and Bachelor of Science in Biology, and Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science students as well as other related program. It also provides non-print materials. The library promotes and disseminates its program and activities through current awareness services.


Filipiniana Library

Filipiniana Library or known as Aklatang Valeriano started to operate in 2002 under the supervision of Dr. Reynaldo Naguit which is the former Director of the Center for Bulacan Studies. Aklatang Valeriano was know as one of the richest Filipiniana collection in the Philippines. Most of the collections were donated by the Valeriano family, a close relative of Dr. Naguit. Without any knowledge of being librarian, still, Dr. Naguit cherished and managed the Filipiniana collection by providing database in which the client could access the collection easily. It was the very first database used the University that time. Because of the task as Director of CBS, Dr. Naguit hired a librarian that managed the library in the person of Ms. Rosita Lalic. In 2006, Ms. Lalic was transferred to other college library. In year 2007, Ms. Maria Pretty Lay Abdala was hired and started to man the Aklatang Valeriano. Dr. Naguit was promoted Dean of the College of Social Sciences and Philosophy and hand over the management of Aklatang Valeriano and CSSP library to Ms. Abdala. Due to the growing population of the college and demands of the work, Ms. Abdala hired additional staff that would take over the Aklatang Valeriano in the person of Ms. Ranessa Mae Villamonte. To date, the Aklatang Valeriano collections have been under digitization and preservation as one of Ms. Abdala's projects for the library.


Graduate School

The Graduate School Library is housed at the ground floor of the three-story integrated building of the University (known as Federizo Hall), adjacent to the Office of the Dean. Headed by Mrs. Shiela Dela Cruz, the library operates Monday to Saturday, from 8:00 AM until 6:00 PM. GS library holds a collection of over 2,682 volumes of 2,068 titles of books.


Meneses Campus

The Meneses Campus Library is located at Alvarado Building, 2nd floor beside the Computer Laboratory. It has a total of 76.5 sq. m. that can accommodate at least 50 person. The Library Section has different areas which are Reference, Filipiniana, Technical, Computer Area, and Baggage. The Meneses Campus-Library holds a collections limited on Education, Information Technology, Business Administration and Food and Nutrition which classified according to Library of Congress. The Library is open for service from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with no noon break.

Sarmiento Campus

The Sarmiento Campus Library is located at the 3rd floor of the Building 1. Headed by Mrs. Myra Acain, the library operates from Monday to Saturday at 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM in the afternoon, and during Sundays at 9:00 AM until 4:00 PM. It has a total area of 164.85sq meters and can accommodate 85 students per seating. Total library collection is 4,159 volumes of 3,782 titles of library books.
