National Assembly for Action Research

In another series of firsts for Bulacan State University (BulSU), the BulSU College of Education in cooperation with the Office of the Faculty and Staff Development launched the National Seminar on Action Research on the 25th of April, 2018. The three-day seminar/workshop aimed to give the teachers a solid foundation in terms of educational training and an updated method of teaching through research and practice. It also gave the participants the opportunity to earn 15 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) units due to the workshop being duly recognized by the Philippine Regulatory Commission (PRC).

Present during the opening ceremony were University President Dr. Cecilia Navasero-Gascon, Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Edgardo M. Santos, Director for Faculty and Staff Development Dr. Jovita E. Villanueva, Dean of the College of Education Dr. Ruben E. Borja II, and faculty participants from all over the region. The lecturers for the workshop included: Chairperson of the Technical Panel for Teacher Education PRC Dr. Brenda B. Corpuz, Tarlac Agricultural State University (TAU) Graduate School Coordinator Dr. Maria Teresa SJ. Valdes, TAU Office Admissions Director Professor Arnold E. Velasco, BulSU Dean of Instruction Dr. Felicidad Villavicencio, and former Dean of the BulSU College of Arts and Letters Dr. Bonifacio T. Cunanan.
