On The Rise: New BulSU Facilities

Education infrastructures are central foundations of learning environments in any academic institution. Considering the strong indication that high-quality infrastructure facilitates better instruction and improves student outcomes, Bulacan State University (BulSU) inaugurated six (6) new facilities that aim to provide a more conducive working and learning environment for its faculty and students on May 10, 2019. The new facilities include: The Office of the President Modern Conference Room, CAFA classroom and AVR, and new faculty rooms for COE, CoED, and CHTM.

Led by the University President Dr. Cecilia S. Navasero-Gascon, the event was witnessed by members of the BulSU Administrative Council, the Project Management Office, and faculty and students from the different colleges. Each of the new rooms were blessed and dedicated to benefit future generations and make positive contributions to all those who would utilize it.

In essence, it is not simply the short-term establishment of physical structures that is the primary focus of BulSU, but the way it supports and connects the administration, the faculty, and the students. With this thought in mind, the Institution carried out work of this nature across different colleges at the start of the year, with more projects due to be finished in the next couple of months. In her message, Dr. Gascon reiterated the University’s goal to put the students at the center of its development and that it will continue to provide 21st century learners with an environment that will aid them in receiving high quality education.
