This endeavor is in compliance to the directives of the Inter-agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) and the CHED Advisories related to the adaption of the “new normal”. The group headed by Dr. Maria Teresita Semana, CHEDRO III Director, sat down with the BulSU officials and listened to the presentation of the University President, Dr. Cecilia S. Navasero-Gascon, and the group of Dr. Edgardo Santos, BulSU Vice President for Academic Affairs, who is in-charge of overseeing the development of alternative learning modalities for the new normal.
President Gascon lead the presentation, showing comprehensive statistical data about the University’s students and faculty, and the solutions crafted based on said data. The rest of the team followed, elaborating on different topics such as online library services, webinar series for faculty and students.
After the presentation of the BulSU officials, CHEDRO Director Semana commended the thoroughness of the presentation and the readiness of BulSU to engage in the new normal blended learning set-up.
On the other hand, DICT Regional Director Reynaldo Sy declared that the DICT Region III will donate four laptops and a new printer to BulSU, to further support the University’s flexible learning initiatives.
