BulSU Signs MOA with Coast Guard Education Training and Doctrine Command

A Memorandum of Agreement was signed between the Bulacan State University (BulSU) Graduate School-College of Education and the Coast Guard Education Training and Doctrine Command (CGETDC) on November 25, 2021. Dedicated to the pursuit "Upgrading the Teaching Proficiency and Efficiency of Coast Guard Trainers", the ceremony took place at the BulSU Hostel which was graced by the University President, Dr. Cecilia S. Navasero-Gascon and the Executive Vice President and OIC-Dean of GS, Dr. Teody C. San Andres and Commander CG Commodore Eustacio Nimrod P. Enriquez Jr, CGETDC Commander.

The CGETDC is the primary training institution of the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) where education and training for the aspirant officers and non-officers are conducted. The program aims to train the faculty members of the CGETDC on the principles of teaching for quality classroom instruction which will make them become more effective teachers.

This endeavor is a result of the University's effort to generate, maintain, and nurture high-quality links with organizations which share a common goal of producing individuals who will contribute to the development of the nation. Such kind of community engagement program of the University helps to create resilience by encouraging the stakeholders utilize their knowledge and continue to commit to the Vision of BulSU in terms of active participation on relevant undertakings.
