A total of 265 graduates from the different colleges and campuses of BulSU were recognized at the ceremony by the Executive Vice President, Dr. Teody C. San Andres, the Chancellor for the main campus, Dr. Romeo Inasoria, and the Chancellor for External Campuses, Dr. Reynaldo S. Naguit.

In his message, the event’s Guest Speaker, Hon. Atty. Danny A. Domingo, Representative of the First District of Bulacan, emphasized that aside from their parents, the graduates also owe their education to the Filipino taxpayers, and so they shall strive to pay it back by being of service to the community.

On the other hand, the University President, Dr. Cecilia S. Navasero-Gascon highlighted three points in her message of challenge to the graduates: first, answering the call of duty is not out of self-interest but of passion to serve; second, learning is a lifetime process, it doesn’t end in their graduation, and third, in this day and age, be vigilant about the information we consume, carefully analyze the, and always stand for what is right.

Meanwhile, BulSU Federation of Alumni Associations President Dr. Rolando Gaspar shared that in his 55 years within BulSU both as a student and as an administrator, he has never heard of a BulSUan Alumni who brought disgrace to the name of BulSU and he has high hopes that this will remain true in this batch, and all future batches. Dr. Gaspar then administered the Oath of Loyalty to the Alma Mater.

The event was also attended by the rest of the BulSU Executive Committee, Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Edgardo M. Santos, Vice President for Administration and Finance Dr. Jaime P. Pulumbarit, Vice President for Research, Development, and Extension Engr. Erwin DR.
