Bulacan State University to Host the 25th Philippine Mathematical Olympiad

The Mathematical Society of the Philippines (MSP) and the Department of Science and Technology – Science Education Institute will hold the 25th Philippine Mathematical Olympiad (PMO) this school year 2022-2023. The PMO is the oldest and most prestigious nationwide mathematics competition among high school students. It is the breeding ground for the country’s representatives in the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO). The 25th PMO has Cebu Pacific Air as the official airline partner. The event is also sponsored by FUSE and CASIO.

For the past two years, despite the pandemic, the organizers were still able to hold the PMO online. This school year, it will be held onsite in various testing centers nationwide.

Bulacan State University (BulSU) was chosen as the Region 3 Testing Center with Prof. Yolanda C. Roberto as Regional Coordinator. The University is set to host the Qualifying Stage this Saturday, January 14, 2023; and the Area Stage on February 11, 2023, for the participants of the region. This is in coordination with the College of Science Mathematics Department and the Mathematics Society of BulSU.
