BulSU Welcomes New Confucius Institute Chinese Director

Director He Jing, or Director Krystal as she is fondly called, is the new Chinese Director of the BulSU CI. She succeeded former CI Director Liu Yuan, in a virtual turnover ceremony last September 23, 2021. However, due to the COVID restrictions she was only able to travel to the Philippines in 2023.

Present in the ceremony was the University President Dr. Cecilia S. Navasero-Gascon, Executive Vice President and Filipino Director of the Confucius Institute Dr. Teody C. San Andres, other key officials of the University and external partners of the BulSU CI.

The event was lightened by a salvo of both Filipino and Chinese cultural performances.

In closing, Deputy Director for Internationalization Dr. Charlyn V. Rosales expressed her excitement for the future of BulSU CI, and her full support towards its new director.
