Bulacan State University Partners with SPROTT Shaw College

BulSU is the only university in Luzon that secured a partnership with the said prestigious institution. The main purpose of this experience is to remind the students that there are many opportunities in the international arena. The Executive Vice President, Dr. Teody C. San Andres, in his message, acknowledged the presence of SPROTT Shaw College through the efforts of the Office of Internationalization. Meanwhile, through her message of support, the University President, Dr. Cecilia S. Navasero-Gascon extended her gratitude to SPROTT Shaw College, especially to their Marketing Manager for Southeast Asia and Africa, Ms. Myla Raiz. President Gascon also encouraged the students to continue their active participation in this kind of event as she reiterated that growth is not only confined inside the university but can also be found outside so it is important to seize every chance and possibility.

The Head for Global Partnership and Network Head and also the Master of Ceremony, Dr. Michael O. Llorens, introduced the Keynote Speaker, Ms. Myla Raiz whose informative talk which includes an introduction to the program they had prepared for the students of BulSU. She also shared a glimpse of their college and discussed the different courses that the students can take when they start. It was then followed by the open forum and Q&A session.

The Deputy Director for the Office of Internationalization, Dr. Charlyn V. Rosales, delivered the closing remarks. The successful and fruitful event gave a peek into international experience and left an inspiring message to aspire to greater heights.
