BulSU President Gascon as Guest of Honor in BPPO's Women's Month Celebration

With the theme “WE MAKE CHANGE WORK FOR WOMEN: JUANA LABAN SA PANDEMYA: KAYA!”, Dr. Gascon emphasized in her message that Women’s Month is not to favor women necessarily, but to recognize gender equality.

“This celebration not only symbolizes the commemoration of the women’s contribution all over the world but the recognition of the fundamental quality of men and women before our Constitution,” expressed the President.

Dr. Gascon also iterated that although it is called “Women’s Month”, the celebration is not just a month-long but a life-long gender equity advocacy.

After the President finished delivering her message, BPPO P.Col. Lawrence Cajipe awarded Dr. Gascon with the Plaque of Appreciation.
